Subscriptions

Subscriptions allow you to charge students on a recurring basis for continued access to your content. Euron Systems supports monthly, quarterly, and annual billing cycles.

Subscription Types

Course Subscription

Students pay monthly/annually for access to a single course:

  • Access is granted for the duration of the subscription
  • If the subscription lapses, access is suspended
  • Content updates are included automatically

Bundle Subscription

Students subscribe to access a bundle of courses:

  • Create a bundle with multiple courses
  • One subscription fee covers all courses in the bundle
  • Add new courses to the bundle over time

Platform Pass

An all-access subscription for your entire catalog:

  • Students get access to all current and future courses
  • Premium offering with the highest price point
  • Excellent for recurring revenue

Creating a Subscription Plan

  1. Go to Payments → Subscriptions → Create Plan.

  2. Configure the plan:

    • Plan Name — e.g., "Pro Monthly Access"
    • Billing Cycle — Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual
    • Price — Recurring charge amount
    • Trial Period — Free trial duration (optional, e.g., 7 days)
    • Setup Fee — One-time fee charged on first payment (optional)
    • Applicable Products — Which courses/bundles are included
  3. Click Create Plan.

Managing Subscribers

View and manage all active subscriptions:

  • Active — Currently paying subscribers
  • Trial — In free trial period
  • Past Due — Payment failed, grace period active
  • Cancelled — Subscriber cancelled (may still have access until period end)
  • Expired — Subscription has ended

Handling Failed Payments

When a subscription payment fails:

  1. The student is notified via email.
  2. A grace period begins (configurable, default 3 days).
  3. The system retries the payment automatically.
  4. If retries fail, the subscription is suspended.
  5. The student can update their payment method and reactivate.

Analytics

Subscription-specific metrics:

  • MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) — Total monthly revenue from subscriptions
  • Churn Rate — Percentage of subscribers who cancel per month
  • LTV (Lifetime Value) — Average revenue per subscriber over their lifetime
  • Trial-to-Paid Conversion — Percentage of trial users who convert to paid
