Setting Up Multi-Currency
Step 1: Set Primary Currency
- Go to Settings → General → Currency.
- Select your primary currency (the currency you operate in).
- All revenue reports use this as the base currency.
Step 2: Enable Additional Currencies
- Go to Settings → Payment Gateways → Currencies.
- Toggle on the currencies you want to accept.
- Choose the conversion method:
- Automatic — Real-time exchange rates (updated hourly)
- Manual — Set fixed prices for each currency
Step 3: Configure Geographic Pricing (Optional)
Set country-specific prices to optimize for purchasing power:
- Go to Course → Pricing → Geographic Pricing.
- Add pricing for specific countries.
- When a student from that country visits, they see the localized price.
Exchange Rate Management
Automatic Rates
Exchange rates are fetched from reliable financial data providers and updated hourly. A small markup (configurable, default 2%) is added to cover exchange rate fluctuations.
Fixed Rates
If you prefer stability, set fixed exchange rates:
- Go to Settings → Currency → Fixed Rates.
- Enter the exchange rate for each currency pair.
- Review and update rates periodically.
Settlement
Regardless of what currency the student pays in, your settlement is always in your primary currency:
- Student pays $100 USD → You receive the INR equivalent
- Exchange conversion happens at the gateway level
- Settlement follows the gateway's standard schedule
