Question Bank
The Question Bank is a centralized repository of questions that you can reuse across multiple tests, quizzes, and courses. It saves time, ensures consistency, and enables automatic test generation.
Organization
Questions are organized by:
- Subject — The main subject area (e.g., Mathematics, Physics)
- Topic — Specific topic within the subject (e.g., Calculus, Mechanics)
- Subtopic — Further categorization (e.g., Integration, Newton's Laws)
- Difficulty — Easy, Medium, Hard
- Question Type — MCQ, Numerical, True/False, etc.
Adding Questions
Manual Entry
- Go to Test Series → Question Bank → Add Question.
- Select the question type.
- Write the question (supports rich text, images, and LaTeX).
- Add answer options and mark the correct answer(s).
- Write a detailed solution/explanation.
- Tag the question with subject, topic, and difficulty.
- Save.
Bulk Import
Import questions in bulk from a spreadsheet:
- Download the import template (Excel format).
- Fill in questions, options, correct answers, and tags.
- Go to Question Bank → Import.
- Upload the completed spreadsheet.
- Review the imported questions and confirm.
The template supports:
- Up to 1,000 questions per import
- Images via URL references
- LaTeX equations in the question text
- Multiple tags per question
AI-Generated Questions
Use AI to generate questions from your content:
- Go to Question Bank → AI Generate.
- Paste a text passage or upload a document.
- Select the number and type of questions to generate.
- Review and edit the generated questions.
- Save approved questions to the bank.
Question Statistics
After questions are used in tests, view their performance:
- Usage Count — How many tests include this question
- Accuracy Rate — Percentage of students who answer correctly
- Discrimination Index — How well the question differentiates between strong and weak students
- Average Time — How long students spend on this question
