1:1 Consultations

The Hub Marketplace allows you to offer paid 1:1 consultation sessions. Students can browse available time slots, book a session, and meet you via video call for personalized advice, mentoring, or coaching.

Setting Up Consultations

Step 1: Create a Consultation Listing

  1. Go to Hub → Consultations → Create.
  2. Fill in:
    • Title — e.g., "Career Guidance Call" or "Code Review Session"
    • Description — What the consultation covers
    • Duration — 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes
    • Price — Per-session fee
    • Category — Career, Technical, Business, etc.

Step 2: Set Your Availability

  1. Define your weekly availability (e.g., Mon-Fri, 10 AM - 4 PM).
  2. Block specific dates (holidays, travel, etc.).
  3. Set buffer time between sessions (e.g., 15 minutes).
  4. Set maximum sessions per day.

Step 3: Configure Booking Settings

During the Consultation

  1. At the scheduled time, both parties receive a notification.
  2. Click Join Session to open the video call.
  3. Features available during the session:
    • Video and audio
    • Screen sharing
    • Chat
    • File sharing
    • Session recording (with consent)

After the Consultation

  • The student can leave a review and rating.
  • Session recordings (if enabled) are available for both parties.
  • Payment is settled to your account per your gateway's schedule.
