Euron Systems provides tools and features to help you comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data protection regulations worldwide.
What is GDPR?
GDPR is the European Union's data protection regulation that gives individuals control over their personal data. Even if your business is not based in the EU, GDPR applies if you have EU-based students.

Consent Management
- Cookie Consent Banner — Customizable cookie consent popup for EU visitors
- Terms & Conditions — Students must agree to your terms during registration
- Privacy Policy — Link to your privacy policy on the registration form
- Marketing Consent — Separate opt-in for marketing communications (not bundled with registration)
Data Access Rights
Students can exercise their data rights:

Data Processing
- Data Minimization — We only collect data necessary for the service
- Purpose Limitation — Data is used only for stated purposes
- Storage Limitation — Data retention policies are configurable
- Processing Records — Maintain records of all data processing activities
Admin Tools
As an admin, you have tools to comply with data requests:
- Student Data Export — Export all data for a specific student (Settings → Privacy → Data Export)
- Account Deletion — Delete a student's account and all associated data (Settings → Privacy → Delete Account)
- Consent Logs — View when and how each student gave consent
- Data Retention — Configure how long inactive accounts are retained before automatic deletion
Data Processing Agreement
Euron Systems provides a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for customers who need it:
- Go to Settings → Legal → DPA.
- Download and review the DPA.
- Sign and upload the countersigned copy.
